Aesthetic Dermatology
At our dermatology department, we provide insurance-covered treatments for:
- Infantile hemangiomas and port-wine stains (capillary malformations) (*red birthmarks*).
- Nevus of Ota and extracutaneous Mongolian spots (*blue birthmarks*).
- Acne treatment under the national health insurance system.
Additionally, we offer cosmetic dermatology treatments (self-funded, non-insurance-covered) for various pigmentation concerns, including:
- Solar lentigines (age spots)
- Seborrheic keratosis
- Melasma
- Freckles
- Acquired dermal melanocytosis
For these conditions, we provide safe laser treatments using Q-switched ruby lasers and variable pulse width pulsed dye lasers.
After a doctor’s consultation, we will explain whether the treatment is covered by insurance or private-pay (cosmetic treatment). We will also provide details on treatment methods, expected progress, and costs before deciding on the best treatment plan.
Additionally, we offer guidance on skin care methods tailored to individual skin conditions.
